Up in space

HI

Our primary product is YOU - engineers.

We have constructed cubesats since 2001 as a part of our Bachelor and Master program for educating engineers.

We are building satellites for fun AND we (the students) are building satellites because the best way of learning is just ... do it.

Our students are studying for Electronic Engineers (elektronik og IT ingeniør)

So for becoming a space engineer the best practice is to build a satellite :-) when you are studying for electronic engineer.

Satlab is located at Department of Electronic Systems and daily business is in Section for Automation and Control as well as other Sections at the Department.

We have a main entry http://electronics.aau.dk/om-elektronik-og-it/.

We consider space as a (very interesting) application area where different specializations (electronics, control engineering, networking and security, radio technology etc) together can build a cubesat.

So if you want to know more

  • contact jdn@space.aau.dk (Jens) or jal@space.aau.dk (Jesper)
  • or just call Jens 287 287 53
  • visit http://aau.dk
  • or visit http://sict.aau.dk
  • come by at Satlab

Our next cubesat AAUSAT4 has been started up spring 2013.

We have already a launch :-) Looking forward to cooperate with you in satlab :-)
